The Motorcycle Roadracing Association Inc. (MRA) takes pride in creating fun, safe, affordable, competitive motorcycle roadracing opportunities in Colorado!
This open lapping day is open to ALL participants. Track sessions will be shared with the 2025 MRA Race School (sessions will alternate between race school Sessions and Open lapping sessions).
The track will be hot from 8AM until 5PM, with lunch from 12-1PM. Participants entering this event will NOT receive coaching. If you wish to enter an event that includes coaching, or wish to obtain a Race License, you should enter the MRA Race School.
There will be a mandatory Riders' Meeting at 7:30AM. If necessary, there will be a second Riders' Meeting at 12:30PM. You must attend a Riders' Meeting before being allowed to enter the track! If you miss the riders meeting, you will not be able to enter the track until you have received a safety briefing from an MRA Board Member.
All Motorcycles must pass Tech before being allowed on track.
Tech will begin at 7am BEFORE the riders meeting.
The following items will be checked on your motorcycle:
- Headlights and mirrors either removed or taped over
- Tires to have at least 50% tread remaining
- Machine must be free of leaks
- radiator must contain only distilled water - no glycol
- Brake pads must be no more than 50% worn
- Throttle must return to the closed position when released
- Chain to be in good condition
Please note the following protective equipment requirements:
Full face helmets are required. Hinged full face(modular) helmets are not allowed.
Motorcycle riders must wear 1 or 2 piece leathers.
2 piece suits must zip all the way around (360 degrees) at the waist.
Textile suits are not allowed.
Leather boots that cover the ankle and leather gloves that cover the wrist are required.
Back protectors are strongly recommended.
Passengers are NOT allowed on ANY motorcycle.

Event requirements
There will be a mandatory Riders' Meeting at 7:30AM. The riders meeting is MANDATORY. If you miss the meeting, you will not be allowed on track until you have received a brief from an MRA Board Member.
